You can probably keep it in there for a while, but if you wanted to breed a pair, you may want to upgrade to a 40 breeder so the parents can look after the fry. ;-)

People can be real idiots sometimes. I can't believe in the 21st century a person could be so ignorant. To keep a fish that big in a tank that small. It's simply torture. Ang, you have been at this site too long to not know that that fish needs a bigger tank. I really just can't believe that that thing is still alive. You should be ashamed of yourself. Is the tank even filtered... and are my eyes decieving me or is there no water in the tank. People like you should be locked up. I'm done with this thread!!!

What do you mean. Petco told me 1" of fish per gallon. So i'm only slightly overstocked at 18" in a 10 gallon.
