Just got off the phone with The Wet Spot
Shipping is available, but it has to be arranged. It seems they have blown up since covid hit and with the staff they have they can get out 45 boxes a day of fish. She said most days they hit that limit. Would have to email ahead and find a day they have not as many planned to fit it in.

I clipped the two stem plants that had grown above the waterline. Here is the new home of one

Honestly I don't know where the second one ran off to. I think the jungle ate it...

Nice tank!

What's it like keeping livebearers with cichlids? I'm thinking about doing that for my own cichlid tank.
It really depends on the cichlids you want to use. I have now or in the past had HRPs, Nanolutae and Firemouth do really good with them. My Amphilophus Saggitae devastated Swordtails but Herichthys Carpinitis did really well. Last I saw in my Carpinitis tank I sold my old roommate the Swords were 5in long and the Carpinitis were 7in and all getting along.

In my tank above the Livebearers typically stay in the upper half of the tank and the HRP'S stay near the bottom. And you can see that enough fry are making it and not becoming HRP snacks.

But then again this tank is so overgrown in vals that there are infinite places for livebearers fry to hide. Yes at times both venture into the region they don't normally habit especially during feeding times. Yes if the livebearers get near young fry or eggs, the parents will run them off. But in my experience there is no outwards aggressiveness from the HRP's towards the livebearers.
