About 3-4 inches right now - the biggest issue is that I just don’t have the tank space - she’s already in an overstocked system.
Btw, I discovered an easy way to help feed tiny fry. Mine seem to love picking food particles off plants and decor. When Pip had her second fry batch they literally covered the sponge filters like tiny tadpoles, noshing on pellet particles. Stayed fat, too. Pip did her part as well. I would just smoosh some soft pellets into a sponge and let them go for it.
I don't think I need anything you two mention. It's neet when I feed, the flakes get pulled all over the tank before they start sinking. It's actually kinda cool watching the food zoom around, then all the fry start showing up out of nowhere. I'll have to catch it in video.
So there is a social area near the elevators on my floor. People put stuff here they don't want that is still usable. One day I spot a little baby Porthos plant. Little guy had just six leaves and wasn't looking good. Brought him home and set it on the back corner of my tank to get some light and started feeding it tank water. Pretty soon I should be able to dump the dirt and add it to the jungle.
