Paratheraps bifasciatus, rio chacamax, rio candelaria, rio carolino. There are many more catch locations all with slightly different colours. Fairly sure it is a bifasciatus, think it might be line bred

It kind of looks like a hybrid (not that there's anything wrong with that!) between a Nic (shape), Red Texas (face colour/markings), and a Jag (markings on posterior portion of the body).

Regardless, it is a beautiful fish.

I think its a mixture of vieja myself

Lots if so called guttulatus get sold and I have heard of this red spotted guttulatus being sold as a catch location fish.
No one can really say if guttulatus is a true species or not at this point.They may just be natural hybrids of zonatus or sp,coatzacoalcos.
The original holotype for guttulatus was lost so it's just a guessing game.
Having said all this I believe the fish posted by the op is veija fenastratus. Another very variable fish. It has the distinctive crossed lateral line and the bright head colour of certain fenastratus lines.
