one of the pics of the carp looks like a AUL

I was thinking more like an african arowana.

my brothers names Kyle, sorry if I got it confusing.

the "aul :D" we cought using a whole bread ball because something decided to eat a whole peice while we were out there and I was like why not.

its a grass carp. not exactly renowned for thier fighting quality... still a nice fish though. unusual for it to be caught on a live bait. also unusual as they are normally surface feeders...

6lb line and freelined bread is the best way to catch carp. its even better when people come down to feed the ducks on a sunny day, your pre baitings done for you! :)

thats why the lake i go to has giant sunfish and they all eat bread

Sunfish Smunfish....
if i really felt like it i could catch sunfish all day, but its really not that fun
sometimes we liveline Sunnys for stripers on the Ct river since herring and most shad are now restricted

how deep is the water your fishin? have two options really if you want it on the surface hook in through the back or if you want it on the bottom hook it on the bottom of its tail

im not sure if hooking through the back or mouth is more effective since bass usually take it head first
going through the lips sure is easier though
usuallt only use live for Nortern Pike

when the sunfish is the size of a dinner plate its fun. but unfortunately they partially drained the lake and so there was a dieoff of the big ones. but there are still a few large one but dont know if they still eat bread.

sunfish will eat anything
ive caught them on just a silver hook before ahah, back in the day, have my own little set up for them, float and fly

Did pretty good today, got 4 bass, 3 small ones and a 4lber.

was a pretty good day, will upload pics sometime today or tomorrow.

make a wood spear and spear sunnies during the summer if youre bored its fun as hell i got a river redhorse last year... kinda off topic but lol got him right through the gill plate

Bluegills and sunnies are the best way to catch LMB in a lake by me. It's private and doesn't get fished at all. My buddies brother caught a 7lb.er on a gill, and a 9lb. walleye. I got about a 4-5lb, 20"er last spring/early summer. All of them taken on Bluegills and bobbers while sipping coldies on the dock.
