yeah right, I would crap my pants if i walked into my lfs and found some kilsea's or ostigamma's. I can't find any fish of serious interest to me without taking the hour and 45 min. to milwaukee.

Yesterday I went to my LFS to see if they had any Yellow Labs and all they had in African Cichlids was 4 beautiful 2" Auratus, but I don't dare do that to my Electric yellows.

But I'm going to have to have these Calvus. They are just gorgeous, and the pictures just don't do them justice.
I haven't seen any other vics around since then, very rare to find one at a lfs... I aslo found the female to go with my male in another tank that same day now the female is holding so hoepfully soon I will have a nice little colony of thickskins!!MalawiTango;3023888; said:well my LFS about 5 minutes away sucks. Not the selection but the people working there. Every couple weeks I pop in to check stuff out cuz they get nice fish every now and then. They had a 30G tank with assorted peacocks and Haps at about 4-5 inches for $44.99each. There was a Bucco. Nototeania in there I really liked but didnt have the loot at the time. I stopped off a couple weeks later and he was still there, BUT there were some juvies a couple tanks down showing more color and looking better than the $44.99 one so I got one of them for $16!!!! Score!
You got any pics???Bre;3022880; said:I actually found Kyoga Flamebacks in an LFS...Talk about a RARE find.
