btw the 2nd photo is also a RTC/TSN hybrid with a really munted mouth. the the 2nd photo was probably the largest hybrid in the tank...the 4th photo shows a perfect specimen though. Man i just wonder how much they feed these animals...they were all soooo FATTTT! btw i tried to buy the wallago but the shopkeeper wouldnt believe that i had a pond. i almost stole it! luckily i didnt get it cause i just remembered how freaking large they can become. it was like the smallest fish in the tank at a meager 65cm!

Wish there was some fish shops around here like that. The biggest tank that any fish shop around here has is 200 gals. Pretty sad I got two that outdo them, and my new one will be like 15x larger lol. Can't wait to get home today. I was going to start on the new pond today, but I think I need to upgrade the filtration on the big boy's tank first. He's been eating pompano like crazy, just hope the grocery store can get more.:WHOA:

Yeah, I will do a diy article on it. Will be a cheap way for MFK to build a massive tank and still be able to view their fish from the side. I have the plans finally the way I want them. Hoping that it will only take a few weeks to finish, but you never know!!. Looks like there will be a viewing panel afterall. Won't be huge, but doesn't need to be since it was gonna be a pond anyway lol. I'll call it the pond with a large porthole lol. For now though I am upgrading the filtration on the current ponds. That way I can keep the big boy in the 350 for just a bit longer without worries. I had to cut back on feedings because the filters I have now just are not large enough for his biological needs. The one I am making over the next 5 days will definitely be large enough.

lol no i just loves the greenish/blue pattern on the body...i didnt know it was just another normal channa micropeltes...i thought it was sumthing else like emperor snakehead...but its not the first time ive kept large snakeheads...i used to have 6 of them like channa marilius and channa micro but my mum forced me to give them away cause they kept jumping out of the fibreglass tub and walking in her garden...freaked her out hehe...this was before i have a pond though!
