Hes lucky the thug wanna bes out there dont know anything about guns and loaded the shotgun with cheap bird shot instead of 00Buck. With 00Buck it would have been a different outcome.

My thought untill he mentioned how he had this huge hole in his chest....If you ask me, thirty five years is a lenient sentence in this case

i agree about it being to short of a sentence ...it was premeditated, and for a gang initiation.. wish it was a texas case.. they woulda had him done right!

Birdshot will leave a big hole. 00 Buck would have left a big hole in his chest all the way through and out his back.

crazy thing is that the head shot apparently was point blank range. even for birdshot that is lucky

The sickest part is this idiots (shooter's) family's response. Proof that's it ain't where you live but who you are that makes you ghetto.

BTW bird is plenty effective at killing a person at that range. You don't need Slug or 00 Buck to kill someone at that distance.

The kid is both awesome and super lucky.
