OK ive had convicts a few months and i finally got them to breed. They werent showing any signs of breading so i didnt pay to much attention but then a pack of maybe 100 babies swimming around caught my eye. they are about a week old. I THINK. i took 4 out, with the mom biting the net the whole time, and i put them in my 4g shrimp tank, but i thought ghost shrimp were vegos but no they ate all 4 before i even noticed. :irked: so i would like to no what i should feed the babies which are still dont really look like adult fish they just look like fry still and its a 20g planted tank with malasain driftwood. the mom is 1" and the dad is 2.5". theyre are more cons in the tank and they are living with the pair with no problems.. yet. so can i feed them flakes cause that is what i have alot of. and this is my first time breading cichlids.

you can use crushed flakes. but if you want less mess and better results in eating i would go on ebay and buy some brine shrimp eggs. if you want to know more about hatching brine shrimp then just ask if not do what balton said and use crushed flakes. good luck.
