I just sold my precious mixed pygo shoal to use my 125 as a growout tank for rays that I hope to have in the future. It is a standard 125 BTW. There will be 1-3 rays in there but for no more then a year. I want to add some fish that will play nice with the rays and be able to live in the tank for life once the rays move out.
So far I have a 15" B. Juruense (yes I know he will outgrow that tank) and a Cichla Monoculus about 8" (ok so will that but the other fish I dont want them to!). The fish must come from the Amazon because I like to have that bio-tope like look. They also must be large enough to not get eatin yet small enough to not out grow my tank. I would also prefer it to be a fish you dont see in your average Joes aquarium.
I really would like to have a Megaladorus Irwini but I all ready have plenty of bottom fish. Any suggestions? Ive gone blank here!
Here is a pic of my cat. He was very cramped as you can see in my 55 for a few days untill the piranhas moved, but he is comfy now in my 125.
