the wood would be taken out after every 6 months or so and restacked back in the same order as before.i guess its a small price to pay for a tank of this size.

I really like the look of your tank, especially the 2nd pic. If you get a chance, please take a pic of the lighting set-up and post it. As for the decor, you nailed it with the wood. I might add some rounded stones of varying size in the front left.
 
awesome look,are the L.E.D's custom made or off the shelf? they work really well
