Ok so i moved all of the fish in my 55 gallon to another tank and since its empty im gonna do an amazon themed tank! My stocking plans are
4 angelfish
5 panda corydoras
10 neon tetras
10 rummynose tertras
And 2 german blue rams
Is this all ok? Will it be over stocked
Temps at 80. Still need to check other paraments. Will be soft water. And if you guys have any other suggestions, i will be glad to hear them!

I think it will be fine but probably would add another German Ram.

This sounds like it will be a good looking tank!

Just a side note, some people experience angels eating the tetras (at least neons), especially if the tetras are not full grown while the angels are further advanced.

To make this work, or at least give it a good chance of working, I'd look for full grown tetras and better still, provide lots of plants.

This is my experience with angels.
I once stocked a 210 with a group of angels and 80 black neons.I added the tetras fully grown and the angels as juveniles. As the angels grew, neons started to disappear.
I caught the remaining tetras and swapped them for larger penguin tetras.
The penguin tetras seemed that little bit bigger as to not be looked on as a meal.
I would rethink your tetra choice and go for something a little bigger.
Emperor, Colombian, bleeding heart or black widows would be a safer choice.
Other than that the stock sounds good.

Wow, someone is asking about fish that are appropriate for the size, AND they're doing it before buying the fish! ;)

Thanks for being responsible.

Your angels may decide to pick on each other as they mature but you'll just have to see. Agreed about the tetras as possible snacks. Rummynose are great! One of my favorites for a smaller schooler. You could also do a larger bodied tetra to help avoid being eaten like white tipped tetras -they're nice, bigger, and colorful.

A planted tank would be great.

Edit: posted at same time as stanzz and agree. :)

Rest in pieces little frog :(

Everyone else seems to have given good advice here, so all i will add is this: look out for angel fish inter species aggression. i guess it depends on the fishes personality but i had 4 angles in 50-60 gal a while back... i had to rescue 2 of them because a pair formed and they went savage on the 2 remaining fish.

Stock sounds good but as stated angels may pick on eachother. Every time I tried 4-6 angels in a 55 I would end up with either 1 or a pair. Not saying don't do 4, just saying keep an eye on them and be prepared to have to move or rehome some if trouble starts.

Also, I would up the number of panda cories to about 8. They love to be in big groups.

The stock sounds good but instead of the neons do 20 rummynose or some larger tetras than neons as they could become food to the ange!s
