I agree with what is being said. If your angels pair off then the others will be in trouble. I had this happen, little buggers get aggressive to each other especially a pair. You can get lucky and not have issues, but it's rare from what I have read and seen. Adding them at the same time, plenty of sight line breaks with plants and decor and adding them small will give you success, but with a watchful eye.

Rams I can't remember the sex to get with just 2 other then a pair. I think 2 females, but not 2 males... I always forget. I have a breeding pair at the moment, but I do know if the female rejects the male, she will kill him. So something to watch.

My experience with German Rams is kinda the opposite. If the female isn't ready to breed the male will try to kill her, though this may be because my males have always been bigger than my females.

I would consider an apisto trio or Bolivian rams over german blues, i find them easier to breed, better parents, and more resistant to disease

Ok so i moved all of the fish in my 55 gallon to another tank and since its empty im gonna do an amazon themed tank! My stocking plans are
4 angelfish
5 panda corydoras
10 neon tetras
10 rummynose tertras
And 2 german blue rams
Is this all ok? Will it be over stocked
Temps at 80. Still need to check other paraments. Will be soft water. And if you guys have any other suggestions, i will be glad to hear them!

Angelfish will most likely eat the tetras the rest of the stock is fine with them of you want tetras I'd suggest some of the bigger tetra species for example

Black/White Widow Tetras
Red Eye Tetras
Black Phantom Tetras
Emperor Tetras
Bloodfin Tetras
Congo Tetras

Thanks everyone for all of your ideas! I will make sure to keep an eye on the angels, i will get a larger tetra then neon, and ill add bolivion rams instead if german since i like both of those fish! Thanks everyone!
