Amazon tree boa?

Carpets are awesome, but they have BIG teeth if they do decide to bite, lol :)

Captive bred Spilotes are usually pretty mellow, they're more bluster than bite. Grows to an average of 7 feet, occasionally to 9 (very slender though). Eats rodents and birds in the wild. Colors are varying amounts of black and yellow, some are very yellow and others nearly all black with yellow underneath.

Hmmm 20 eh? Carpet pythons are out too then, even a small one gets 5-6 feet and much more bulky than a colubrid. Arboreal Candoia boa is probably you best bet.

I've had far nippier kingsnakes...That's Candoia carinata, gets max 3' long. To be fair, I also had a large female Candoia paulsoni (the ground version) that was a ferocious biter.

^^ second that. They can be super crappy feeders. Hard to find CB specimens too, as the young are TINY, and therefore very hard to feed.
