Thanks for all the kind words everyone. As soon as I get the pond constructed I will begin the Pbass collection again but have to move the giants out first so the Pbass have somewhere to grow out without becoming expensive feeders lol. The plan is pinima tapajos x2, lake diamante mono x3, brokopondo x2, and piquiti araguaia x3

The new pond will blow that intex one away. It is going to be bigger and way more aesthetically pleasing with uber filtration :)

I cant wait to see all these cichla :) But no orino's?

Nice update man....is that the same fei feng from years ago ?

Yup, one of the OG's that actually made it through when I had to go back to school and leave my tank to be taken care of by my folks for 1.5years except the occasional weekends I was home. Showing some great color now and growing ever so slowly

Here is the only piraiba pic I have at the moment, sorry it's dark but the piraiba is hiding under the wood the majority of the time or blazing across the tank and I can't get pictures when it's swimming that fast.

Your awesome man.

Do the planiceps pectoral fins change shape as they mature?

They change shape/relative size compared to the rest of the fish. Attached is a pic of one of the bigger ones I had in the past so you can see the comparison. This one was about 16-18" in the pic.
