wide open spaces ..lots of farms and apple tree groves.. the last two pics are a mall that is being expanded into suppose to be.. the largest mall in the united states.. we shall see ... :D
 
Here's two faces of the US. Calm, and then busy. The first ones are from my favorite place to go, Colorado. Have in-laws there, so we go every year or two. The others are Chicago. I just happened to have pics on the computer from a recent vacation there (and of Colorado). Strangely enough, I don't have any of where I actually live. Nothing has ever made me want to stop and take pictures of little old Springfield, MO. Little city (150,000) surrounded by woods. Maybe I'll get some.

Its amazing that someone from aus wants to see the U.S. While everyone here wants to see the outback, reef, etc. Geographic perspective is def interesting.
