Hey Oz, I am the guy who bought one of this fish's siblings at Rainbow Fish in Wichita. I have the pond in the basement. The little guy I bought is doing well, not as colorful or as large as this one in your pic, but looking pretty good. Eats really well.

I had a question, what does "Kamfa" really mean? I thought it was just a flower horn cichlid.

james, this is one of the (selects) fish to show potential first,thats why I wish you came to the shop when I was there cause I would have taken you to my house to get a higher grade fish,kamfa is a flower horn with a differant cross there are many many fhs that can classify as (kamfa) and also differant strains of kamfa that were bred specificlly for certain traits, this fish and your fish are metalic blue dragon/king kong parrot a simple kamfa cross not a true kamfa strain, here are some pics of mom and dad, so basiclly kamfa is just a name given to certain crosses not every fish crossed to fh is considered kamfa its mainly a syn cross the kkp female has strong syn traits like srs,rbk,ff,these are all kamfa strain with strong syn traits, its kinda hard for me to explain hope I have helped a bit???????
