Here is another pic, he's not EW, but looks like it in the other pic because of how he was standing. He is not perfect conformation wise, but with selective breeding we hope to keep certain traits and improve others. My parents raised APBT since i was 3 so i have always loved the breed, we have a small number of Bully's and have never done more than 2 breedings a year since our main goal is to improve our own dogs for the show ring. I will have to check out the pitbull-chat, as of right now i normally stay on American Bully World and Bully international. Thanks for the info ....

I see, he looks much better in that picture... Do you consider him a pocket bully? It's hard to tell his size in the pics, but to me, his stance looks pocket... Doesn't look Standard/Classic/XL. He's a cutie.

American Bully World has a member there, I think, might be another bully site, that I wouldn't touch with a 20' stick, she's cruel and neglected the hell out of a puppy she got from another forum member, so I stay away from those sites, she's very well known in the bully community..

Does look like a pocket doesn't it? I like it.

I like Pocket Bullies for their looks, but many are so overdone they cannot act like a bulldog without tiring themselves out... And so many breeders are breeding for wide chests and big head with no consideration to conformation or health... I was on a bully forum earlier, and this member was going on and on about their amazing dog, and when I scrolled to the pics I nearly threw up. The dog was very easty-west, elbowed out bad, down in the pasterns, very loose lips, knees jutted out, swayed back... But it had a big head and chest, and every other member on there was drooling on their keyboards looking at her, I just didn't get it, it looked like something I'd shoot to put it out of it's misery, not a dog.

my mom has a "bull boxer" . boxer/pit. apparently a very common mix. we always had boxers but they are very cancer prone and it is heartbreaking. pitbulls are known to be a much healthier breed but my mom wasn't to keen on having to take extra insurance out and the whole bad stigma surrounding them. so, she got a "boxer mix" ;)

her temperment is good with the family. pretty rowdy. she was adopted from a rescue that got her from tennesse. found her in a ditch. shes EXTREMELY dog aggressive be it big, small ,male ,female ,etc. has extremely high prey drive as well. she literally will try to kill everything. i am not used to this. my previous boxer was very dog aggressive and was people aggressive but was good with other non-cat/dog animals

poor bandit. he was also rescued but from queens. went from home, to pound, to rescue, to us. died assuming around 8-9 of kidney disease. he had developed seasonal alopecia at the time of this picture.

I absolutly love this thread, I have the same problem. I hate when people call these curs "pit bulls".

yea im not a fan of those "bullies"

i do like bandogs though (mastiff crossed with pits)...i think they get the best of both types...the stronger build but with the more fuctionable pitbull mouth.

my moms dog is extremely "gamey" which i find strange considering its half boxer....but then again alot of boxer dogs are nasty despite their childish reputation.
