Geo's should be kept in a all 1 species group tbh but it's your aquarium so if that's what you would like to try it may work.

Oh they can function well on their own its just most keep them in a group of their own specie. I have 1 in a 180 that been fine for over 3yrs.

It's a lot like clown loaches, pictus catfish, several other pack oriented fish. You can keep them solo, but to truly get the best out of them you need a pack. Solo they'll always be shy and hide. In a large group they get their best colors and activity

Id do like 5 Geos and call it.

Yep, I have 15 Geos in my tank I have to say they're not affair of me, even when I put a net in the tank they don't even care or try to avoid it like other species. They are BOLD in a large group and always beg for food when I'm around the tank.

for 100g i would put a single female festae as males will outgrow it.
