Nice find, thanks for sharing.

I'm asking them now for more info on that product.

My concern is, is there any compremise with this stuff staying rubbery? What is the life expectancy? Can it take the weight of tons of rocks sitting on it? How puncture resistant is it?

I'll repost on this thread if/when they answer.

It has a long dry time though. Minimum 2 weeks, depending on humidity, before water could be put in. I guess it's essentially liquid latex since he said it will make the water milky if it isn't fully dry/cured.

Hey I am sure there will be no problems with it at all. Just go ahead and use it on a tank and let me know if there are any problems so then I can start mine ;)

There is a similar Product which I looked into and everything was GREAT with this type of product BUT the one that I found wasn't potable and the company wouldn't tell me what the leaching agent was ( :irked: ) But on the upside with a elasticity of 800% I doubt you'll find a better suited TYPE of product for the abuse we would put it through :D

The life expectancy is a grey area for sure on this. The epoxies last forever because they are hard and brittle. With this stuff, who knows? Its so new, you won't find any field test synarios confirming any valid data on this. So that at least would be a gamble.

But certainly the price is right. 5 gallons of Pond Amour would be 1000+(shipped) bucks!!

I'm hoping they might send me a sample.
