Currently it is in with a pair of tats and an armatus,they are in the six inch size range and they all seem to ignore each other.The bowfin has eaten all floating food that I have offered and sometimes will capture a feeder that is intended for the others.It is very active and swims circles around the others.

Not many people keep them because they are aggresive and hard to get. I would love to keep one, but I cant find any for sale and I dont have the first clue where to catch one.

I feed them shrimp and sardines/anchovies as well as a little bit of gel diet.

They are hard to come by and mine has shown no aggresive behavior so far,maybe it comes when they reach adulthood.
