yea, read first post of mine

I see, bad grammer and no "?" makes for a hard read.

Basically you will need to keep adding the ammonia, without it the bacteria you are trying to grow will die. This is one advantage to to using raw shrimp to cycle your tank. Throw the shrimp in as it decomposes it will continue to add ammonia to the tank. Once the ammonia and nitrite levels are at zero, you'll see a rise in the nitrate level, you'll then know your tank has been cycled.

But thanks anyways, anyone else have their opinion on this matter where im using AMMONIA not SHRIMP?

"...and the main concern of mine is should i be adding ammonia daily and keep it at 4-5ppm until nitrites are able to be tested OR keep doing it the way i have been by just testin daily and when the test reaches 1ppm add enough ammonia to get it back to 4-5ppm and keep doin so until the ammonia drops to 0ppm in 8-12 hour after gettin the ammonia back to 4-5ppm then test for nitrite?..." that is the question i was asking and sorry if i confused others by NOT ADDING A QUESTION MARK but i didnt know MFK had random grammatical experts roaming the threads :j/k: and i wrote this in a hurry...and please read my entire first post before answering, itll save us some time and thanks to those who help me out with this, its greatly appreciated
