Ammonia in tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
If your fish are doing okay i say just water change daily till your ammonia drops. If your water is cloudy then your tank is already beginning its cycle again. for a 125 I would guess that 75g daily changes is okay, but monitor your ammonia and nitrites daily and watch your fish. If your fish seem okay and your parameters keep improving then keep it up, then space out the water changes gradually as the tank finishes re-establishing itself. If parameters dont improve or your fish dont improve and act normally (which i doubt but it is possible) then i would consider ammo chips or something along those lines

fish are alot better now swimming around but last night they were all just sitting on the bottom breathing heavy. I have another tank but that is showing alittle ammonia to so i don't want to mess with that. Also i didn't feed them yest, or today. Im going to go three days without feeding. Thanks for all the help.
