ammonia issue , increase flow rate?

Your tank is going through another cycle. The fact that you have high ammonia with no nitrites means there isn't enough bb to break it down. Are you positive that you changed nothing but the filter floss? Even something you deemed insignificant at the time?

yup, as you can see from the first picture vs the 2nd, i remove nothing, but the filter floss when i do water change, all the scrubbies and k1 stay in the sump.

Continue daily 25% water changes, pick up a bottle of prime to detoxify the ammonia and pick up a bottle of stability to help with the bb.

When my water co. started using chloramine it caused one of my tanks that wasn't as established to crash and read high ammonia this might be your problem just a thought
