Dudes In my little 30 gallon I had an ammonia spike from over cleaning. So I added a bag of ammonia remover media to the aquaclear filter. I noticed my Christmas moss dying off, then I tried to add 2 bunches of water sprite, it crapped away in like a month, then I realized I forgot to remove the dang ammonia remover bag from the filter ugh.

I don't feed the fish heavily in that tank, and I was only using like three squirts a week of the green stuff from CoOp

I was starving the plants right? they were floating by the way.

so can you guys tell me, was that ammonia removing bag, along with not feeding the fish heavily, likely the cause of the plant loss, starving them, sry i've never truly had planted tanks

Not sure if the is what you mean, and was an extra beyond a typical ammonia remover packet?
But Easy Green is a macro/micro nutrient fertilizer for aquatic plants, it is not an ammonia remover.
