Try to get some filter media from an established tank and add it to your filter

Your tank is not cycled, you still have a while to go. You will need to start seeing a rise in nitrite and then nitrate levels before the cycling process is complete.

It is important for the health of your fish that ammonia and nitrite levels stay below .25ppm so keep upwith water changes.
