they did for a while and they arent eating as much as they use to .... my leo's stomach is red but it was when i got it i just assumed that it was irritated cuz he is still pretty small other rays (both motoros) just hide under the sand all the time

Unless you have sand that would irritate the skin, he shouldn't be turning red. Keep a very close eye on the situation for the next several days. Good luck getting this cleared up.
yeah i have been doign daily water changes and i think he is getting ammonia burn, he looks like he is a heneli now... he is dark rings around his spots and the rest of him is losing color, but i have kept the light off since i noticed this problem which also could be why he had a lil change in color

no... i took that one up to my apt in wisconsin 2 weeks ago to start that tank up and going.... ill steal my brothers from upstairs its just rated for a 20 gallon but its better then nothing...
