Impossible to say with certainty. Amphs can (and often do) change color(s) throughout their lives, especially as they mature.

Yes that's pretty much what I thought. Did yours change to get where it is now or did u see the potential for great color when u purchased him ??

Nice fish, I have a very similar orange with white and blue eyes below, only 8 inch atm though!-)

I bought him when he was already 8-9". Aside from his orange getting a bit more intense/vivid, he hasn't changed too much yet. I'd guess he's close to 2 years of age, so it's hard to say what he looked like at 3".
