I didn't know that Gourami Swami had lyonsi! Everyone has covered everything I have learned from research but I have no first hand experience yet (Mine arrive the 5th from COA). I will be growing them out in a 125, filtered with FX4, heated with two Fluval electronic heaters, the ones with the gaurds, two large airstones, I have a variety of foods including NLS and Northfin Veggie both 1 mm. Will be making a growth journal thread the day they arrive. Also 25% water changes every other day as of now I also like to do a 80% water change at the end of every(or every other month if I don't feel up to it) month to just keep things clean.

Sounds good. Your water change schedule sounds fine to me. I don't have any lyonsi right now; the big guy I posted a pic of, I had about 10 years ago. Was a very cool fish. I have grown a few out since then but none have become as nice as that guy (which I bought as a large male already)

My old male was a solid 12 inch and one of the most aggressive fish I ever owned, agree with what Gourami Swami and duanes have advised. Fantastic species to keep.
