Call them captive bred citrinellus and state the catch location of both parents or raise them for your self and don't sell any. At the moment they are 100% citrinellus but we don't know what the future holds if one of the catch locations got described as a new species then they will be hybrids

They might end up being food for my bass. But I would like to keep some to see how they turn out.

Thanks, me too! For the longest time I though it was a male.
 
Mine are all in my sump and they're staying alone in there until they grow up. One is twice the size of the rest and he's grey and about 3-4 inches. The others are smaller, and are varying shades of grey, and some are pinkish, yellowish, very light colored.

I wouldn't say any are red yet.
