Beautiful fish. I've always loved this species. Its a shame they are now extinct in the wild. I hope theres enough strains to keep them going strong for years to come.

Nothing extraordinary, just good food, clean water. I've fed them pretty consistently a general stick food and they hit it hard. They really like frozen mysis, but what fish doesn't? Keep them with lesser aggressive species - they can get intimidated at feeding time if they are not the alpha species in the tank. I'm hoping to rearrange and set up a divided breeding tank so I can get some fry of these gems.
