Hey Edoc, where did you get him from? He's a great looking fish but doesn't seem to be 100% Trimac.

Sorry to say, but he looks like a low grade flowerhorn with a good bit of Trimac in him. The red should only be near the throat area, not cover half his body. Here's a couple of pictures of mine from Rapps:

Find out who you got him from and let us know.
 
It was from Conkel a friend of mine imported a group a year or so back. I'll agree he does have a lot of red/pink, maybe he's just the best looking trimac you've seen:D

He's a nice fish, don't get me wrong. I only mentioned it just in case you had plans to breed him and sell the fry as Trimacs. If you plan on breeding, I'd post up some pics and see what the others think in a separate thread. If you don't plan to breed, enjoy the big guy.

I agree - Looks FH, but can there be color variants of a Trimac?
 
1-Trimac
1-Amarillo
1-Xalan.-not quite sure about the Spelling got it from Rapps and I was told they are fairly new to the trade.
