Saw this on Rapps stock list and was just wondering if anybody has any? Any info or pics of them? His stock say 1st time import for him, but I don't know. I just want a different than the usual amph...

They are a smaller Amph species growing no larger than 11", but Amph none the less. They look very much like the classic Amph. I no there are some members with them so ill let them chime in

I have a barred pair that bred regularly, they are easy to tell from barred midas, different shape and color, I have a orange/yellow male from this pair and will be getting a yellow/white female from Mack to bred to him soon. Nice fish, stay a little smaller than citranellum, good patrents. Ken

I'm sending Mack four large wild specimens this weekend. Also heading his way are a couple dozen smaller guys.

I should be able to take some pictures prior to shipping them....... They're beautiful fish!

I picked up 4 little guys (1 1/2" - 2") fom Rapps back in January of this year. They are now about 6" and a "pair" has formed (see pics below). Also one of the 4 was alone in a 65g tank and she just one day decided to go ahead and lay some eggs on a rock without any males in site. I can definately say that I have 2 females, one male and one ?, I am hoping the last of the 4 is male so I can possibly have 2 pairs.
