Amphilophus Xiloaensis, Anyone Have One?

Those look very much like mine did when they first arrived. They have all completely lost the "blue" coloring although a couple still have some very faint black markings (males); and I have also observed that the females will develop a red/pink and white bars or stripes when excited - this is very kewl. My son says she looks like she has tiger stripes. As for the male and female marking observations, this is only what I have observed in my group of 4. I would not go so far as to say that males and females could be identified in this manner, as I am quite sure this is just a coincidence as far as my small group is concerned.
