Yes, that's all I feed them

Yes, he lived in there for several months. Sadly he was crushed during a feeding frenzy

He's beautiful - I've got one from COTA as well - but I'd say he's 10" TL at best - can't wait - thanks for sharing

I have to ask...... With as many fish as you have in there, why is it not a complete Amphilophus collection? No Trimac, no Amarillo, or no Lyonsi( I somewhat understand)

I had Amirillo in the tank and like them very much but I lost them both with in a short time from one another. Not sure why. I don’t care for trimacs or Lyonsi much. But I have had both in my Amph comunity in the past. The trimac got himselfed killed always starting trouble with much larger tank mates. The lyonsi just did not have the temperament to live with the other Amphs. Constantly stressed so I pulled him out. I have no plans on ever adding either tri or lyonsi to the tank again.

Okay. That answers that. Pretty much what I figured the reasoning was for the Trimac and Lyonsi. Actually almost exactly what I figured. But like I said... Had to ask.
