disaster or not, the fish DO look happy, and healthy. Very active and ... hungry... No fighting. He probably gets away with it with good water changes and healthy feedings (apparently)
Also, to be able to afford throwing in a $20 piece of shrimp in for one feeding, I'm sure he's not neglecting anything other than swim space.
Truth be told - When one CANNOT do a bigger tank, one has to make do with what he has, and keep on top of it best they can. That seems to be the case here.
The fish tell me that they were not "just" introduced. They seem way too comfortable and established to be a "fresh setup" for the video's sake.
And quite frankly, the fish DO look great.
