An ID, please

its not a Gaftopsail, it doesnt have the filaments on the dorsal fin or mouth barbels.
Looks like a juvie Sea Catfish (Hardhead Catfish) and its full salt. Reaches 24 inches and...believe me...eats anything. my dad caught one on a doa shrimp under a float, and a fishing guide caught one on a live shad.
my field guide says they prefer salinity of "30 parts per thousand" but that juvies hang out in brackish estuaries. and it says they reach over a foot and 3lbs. Treat stings with hot water and disinfectant. Interestingly ive heard of people using Catfish slime to make cuts heal faster :)
by the shape of the dorsal and anal and barbels im 100% sure of it :headbang2:
 
here are some pics of Sea Catfish:) Be careful of this guy! He stings on dorsal and pectoral fins and is an aggressive saltwater Monster! Most people who catch them throw them up on the beach/dock/boat to die, theyre considered trash fish:(
