An interesting wild Anole

it might/might not be a hybrid but it is unique looking. i've seen a bunch with slight markings or stripes, especially on the small ones.

I've seen green anoles with stripes in South Carolina

Found this guy not far from my place at the botanical gardens. I was thinking he was a hybrid green x brown anole because of the pattern but it could be some other exotic anole. I am not sure but he sure was pretty.

The Green Anoles with dorsal stripes are Female.......

Juveniles of both sexes can have dorsal stripes.

Years ago I had a near adult Jamaican Anole female that looked a lot like your picture. It was about the same size as an adult Green Anole at the time.

Are Jamaican Anoles established in your part of Florida?

Anolis Porcatus more than likely.......

I've found a bunch of different Anole species by Nurseries, Gardens, and the like.......

They either hitch a ride as an Egg buried in plant pots, or as juvies from other Countries, especially from the Caribbean........
