an oscar and a bluegill?

I had at one point 2 blue gills and an oscar in a 55. The oscar was bigger and there were no issues. So again it will come down to the temperament of your fish. Just keep your eye on em. Good luck

Yeah i believe that the oscar maybe be tuffer than the gill bet to tell you the truth i like my bluegills deep fried in corn meal.

Your bluegill's already mature while oscar's only baby so bluegill will eventually kill oscar. Mostly oscar's all bark and no bite, but bluegill's no wimp.....lucky this is bluegill, not green or redbreast.

Um, well the Oscar actually tends to be more aggressive and has a larger, meaner mouth than the gill. I do not know why everyone is thinking the other way around...I used to have a tank that had three oscars and four gills. The only gill that did not get picked on was one that hid in a cave.

Actually nearly of all oscar's all bark and no bite. It doesnt matter if oscar has bigger mouth, bluegill will put more damage on him than oscar will do to the bluegill, no matter what size of its mouth.

North American fish are pretty ruff i wouldn't try it the blue gill would be cool with a long ear sunfish though.
