The underneath looks to pink could be an irritation or infection. Your substrate looks big what is it? Also whats the deal with the brace siliconed above the base of the tank is that sharp?
Not at all its very smooth, ill remove the gravel would melafix help? also non of thr other rays are pink thanks for helping.

mela isnt needed for that... add some salt and keep the water pristine.... ive kept rays on large gravel as long as its smooth it shouldnt be a problem

they doo look fatter form the original pix you posted awhile ago...

the non-motoro in the bunch looks almost exactly like my orbignyi, albeit a little lighter. The tail I think gives it away. In the US these rays tend to get imported as 'yellow hystrix', 'Peru hystrix', or Peru sp. 'brown'. Unlikely it's a falkneri, more likely you have an importer who likes to make up some interesting and not very accurate names for their rays. We have plenty of those around here too...
Anyways, some excellent rays, best of luck

looks good bruce...

how are your uaru doing with the rays ???

i have 3 in my 220 and will be getting a ray soooonnn. i will be keeping a close eye on the uaru but wanted to know how yours are doing.

Have you seen pics of falkneri brucy? Not trying to be mean but that is far from one. Those are just common rays from peru most likely. But the motoro with the orange spots looks very good

Yeah im just happy to have em.

Motoros look more like a Falkneri, then the Falkneri looks like a Falkneri.. heres a pix of a Falkneri.

Nice Rays though :) Hopefully the underside of the other one heals.. your gravel doesn't look abrasive, and those type of 'burns' are usually from ammonia..
