Just out of curiousity, where in NY are you? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to.
So Soren, the Savannah should be going in his new home tomorrow. Dad forgot to bring me the silicon so it didn't get done in till today and I am waiting for that to dry. So in the morning I am going to finish putting in soil/sand and set up the lights. He will have a screen lid in till I can swap the screen out for plexi glass. Could I leave the screen under where the lights are I know they will melt the plexi as I have had some warp under 50 watt lights, or would that be to much open and let the humidity out?
I'm in the capital district are you in new York too?

Yeah I live close to the border of PA. About 45 minutes to an hour west of Binghamton.
Wild caught. My friend found him on a friends pond and caught him then gave him to me.
Yeah I like mine, I wish I could get a snapper but I believe they are illegal in NY.
