An Update on Lazarus

I've been working on revamping the 200g. It was where I was keeping most of the rescue fish I had. I plan on housing Laz and Toni here until I can set up the 400. I have a 125 set up to quarentine Toni when she gets here. I also went and picked up a 2nd hand 150 this afternoon. Been busy and I am sufficiently tired now. Still got time to feed the jerk fish tho.

Yup, I did a big ol post about it in Toni's thread.
Yes I do love her. But I feel that she will be as well cared for maybe even better with bigger tanks, and summer time pond excursions.
I need to change things up, feeling sorta stagnant. Acara project was a flop, HRP's are doing great, Toni is still ignoring me ever since the move. So rehoming most all my fish and starting over. One 125 will be h. Carpintis other will be a. Sagittae.

I may keep it, afraid it may eat tiny 2in fish, so may get 4in so I can keep it. No one has said they wanted it, free of course just got to pay for its shipping.
i promise to take good care of Toni. When she gets here her tank is across the room from Laz. I have dim lighting and a curtain set up around the tank to reduce stress. Already bought the food she is used to. After quarentine, when she and Laz are introduced, it will be a slow and careful introduction. They can side-eye each other thru a clear divider for a few weeks. They wont have physical access to one another unless I am sure they will get along. If they dont get along Toni will just have her own dedicated tank in the winter and come summer she can have one of my 500 gallon water lilly containers all to herself. She will be loved
Every night before I leave for work i go vacuum the poos out of the hospital tanks. (These are the tanks that are not connected to the AWC system everything else is on.) Tonight Laz did something weird. Usually he tries to fight with the hose like he's mad that its stealing the poops he was saving in the corner. This time he swam up to my hand. I was expecting him to bite me but he just touched me with his nose and pec fins. He hovered right next to my hand the whole time I was working in the tank. What was that all about? Most fish either want me to feed them or they avoid me when I'm working in their space. I wasn't getting a "feed me" vibe with this and it didn't seem predatory or aggressive. It almost felt...I dont know.. Lonely?
That's what I am saying about Toni when I gravel vac. Getting in the way, and stuff is like "Pay attention to me!" At first just a touch would send her swimming off in a near panic. Now I have to push her out of the way. And by push I mean open hand and shove her out of the way.
