An Update on Lazarus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Haha, well she is lovely. I bet very impressive in person!
I have a red cap oranda. They always make me think of my little sis. She loves them, but never had luck keeping them. It wasn’t till I started keeping fish myself that I found out why.
My very first was a redcap named Button when i was 5yrs old. Had him in a 10 gallon tank with an undergravel filter and fed him nothing but flakes... Its a wonder he lived 3 yrs. Have learned so much since then. Why did your sister have so much trouble?

Uncycled tanks, other sister topped the tinny 1gal tank off with soapy water(she didn’t know it had soap in it). Ick. Just a lack of knowledge about basic fish care.

Lazarus is looking wonderful!

He definitely has come around and is looking like a fine fish. I love the long streamers he has growing off his pelvic fins.
Krill will help his Orange coloring pop more. When Toni's started getting krill regularly her Orange amount went from normal Tiger Oscar markings to nearly looking like a Red Oscar due to so much coloring.

You know, when I first saw Toni, I thought "I hope I can get this fish to look half that good someday". You and Toni are what we aspire to become:)

Just finished cleaning his tank. He really is an @$$ hole and my husband isnt much better. I'm trying to clean algae off the glass, the fish keeps snatching my scrubber and swimming off with it, and my husband is laughing at me for scolding the fish. Apparently there's something hilarious about the utterance "No! Stop! Stop it! BAD FISH! GIVE IT BACK YOU D!CK!" ...I hate this fish -_-

When I clean Toni's gravel she likes to park her fat a@@ right between me and the python so I can't see what I am doing.
Before I could just tap her and off she swam. Now I literally have to shove her out of the way so I can see.....
