an update on my Red devil, he is growing fast

Well here is another update on my red devil, just measured yesterday out of the water and he is 7" head to tale, i hope he turns out to be a male, because that would be awesome. What do you guys think, Male or Female? He will soon go in a 125g all to himself.

I can't wait till my lil juvie grows and gets more chunky like yours.
Hard to say from the pics can't get a good loook at the vent, maybe try and get some shots of it.
What are you feeding him/her if i may ask?

man, your going to make me piss him off again. haha, i just moved his tank yesterday and he wasn't very happy.
I feed him nls 3mm twice a day and piscine mysis shrimp

Speaking of fish not being happy, im changing my rd's black sand and switching it with some natural looking gravel sometime this week. Im really dreading it.
I feed mine massivore and nls. The massivore i use a coffee grinder to smash it a bit then give it to him. Once or twice a week he gets some dainichi ultima krill as well. Still havent been able to get him to eat fd krill or mysis shrimp. Little bugger.....

ya, i like natural gravel better, that is a pain to do. When i had him in a bucket, i thought he was dead because he was laying on his side not moving, he beats an oscar playing dead
ya mine likes his big pellets, he is a true headbanger, which i love.
