an update on my Red devil, he is growing fast

thanks, he is turning out pretty well, i hope he is a male, because his older brothers are brutes.

I tried getting a vent shot, they did not turn out well, from what i could tell he was a male, but my eye could be off, round is female and pointed is male, correct?

Nice, I really like a good looking RD great job with it (I have no idea as to sex). I need to get a good pic of mine but I can't get it to stand still long enough I just get an orange blur. Good luck, really nice fish.

thanks, i have the similar problem, he was a littler calmer since i just moved his tank the day before. I had to move the camera with him to get a majority of those pictures.

You are correct.
if its a male it will be pointy.
if its a female it will be tube like.

Thanks, he is, he will never have tank mates, but yet if you play with him to much he will hide in the corner. He is actually very moody.

Thanks, ya i think this is his weird stage in growth, he is starting to grow taller, and length growth has slowed down, but in about a month he will be in a 125g, maybe witha pleco
