Go to med would be tetra parasite gaurd but none is available locally. Would api general cure do the trick. From what i understand prazi is not effective with these worms.

Btw the fish was put in qt but planning on treating bith qt and the tank it was in. Is there a life cycle with the eggs i need to be concerned with or run the meds and be done with it ?20170426_070212.jpg 20170426_071029.jpg 20170426_071032.jpg 20170426_071046.jpg 20170426_071049.jpg

Pull it off for now. May need to dip the fish, the endli. If others start popping up gen they need to be treated.

Any other fish affected?

Salt to the tank.

How's the PBB looking?

Parasite guard should work technically. Or get diflubenzuron by itself which is in parasite guard.

Don't think general cure will do the trick. Dimilin is another option but they effectivity isn't so great when reported.

When I had anchor worms out in my pond I pulled them off, treated the area with bio bandage, and used kordons anchor worm and lice treatment for the whole pond. Only 3 fish out of 15 were effected, but I wanted to be sure they were gone. I haven't seen any since.
I can't recommend anything else since I didn't look into exactly what ingredient(s) kill them.

Thank you for your reply.

Seems like the consensus is that it may not be a worm but loose membrane
