He lived his life at the LFS on hard gravel with no chance of hiding. Yesterday he had some sand on his head, today he has discovered what sand is for and I only see his tail.
 
Now he plays in the sand like a good banjo should!

Reminds me of my Peacock Eeels...I really never see them except for their tail or head occasionally sticking out. I had them in a bare bottom tank for awhile but they didn't seem to enjoy it (kept hiding uder the filter and heater.) Interesting looking fish, thanks for sharing.
