can a guy not have time to be at a computer.. I thought you guys would have a little more faith in me then that..

Yes this experiment is on going and current. Both specimens are Beeing housed together without the use of a divider for quote some time now.. The smaller of the two has nipped the largerbones fin bit they grow back with remarkable speed. They are both fat and healthy. I haven't had the time to take pictures of them but a few people have been to my house to see the two of them together, and I can assure you that this is no lie... As for breeding I don't have anything yet but just having these guys Cohab for this amount of time is quite the feat in it's self . I will try and get pictures up today to prove the claims..

Hey Cepon3, I guess most of us just so want to see more frequent update on this rare cohab. personally I really hope it turns out well and you'll have fry soon.
You should just setup an IP camera so we can monitor the fish for you :) this way you have no need of updating the status for us. ;)

Genius idea!! Try and post a video of feeding time! Do they eat together or is one of them the dominant eater?

we got faith cepon we just never seen this happen before and updates are a must or this cause is useless for the P community, we are behind you bro:headbang2:popcorn:

Pictures up tommorow for sure. Most of the pics come out looking exactly the same but I took three of both the fish together and a full rank shot.. Which will be a first..

And these shots may be a little less then the quality of picture that I usually post but it's hard to get a focused shot with two targets.. But you shouldntet the point

The larger is more dominant at feeding time.. Taking what he wants and leaving the rest for the smaller.. I put slot of food on the tank so that they don't need to attack the same pieces to reduce the chances of the taking chunks out of eachothwr

I don't have a computer in my room to set anything like that up.. If I get fry then I might put something like that into the works

I'm not even sure what this would prove anyway.. That I can keep them together and get a Cohab? I hardly think that is impressive anymore.. To tell you the truth I have done absolutely nothing special to keep these hiya from fighting.. Like I said try occasionaly nip but nothing serious. Nothing 2 days won't fix.. My goal is to get fry, and once that happens illl feel like I did something to change the course of serra keeping.. Which is why I keep most of the info to a minimum.. So I don't get anyone hype like I'm changing how we think about breeding serrras

Sorry about all the typos.. Stupid iPhone keyboard

now you just need to get a spawn and raise the young and you'll have some nice cash from the offspring.

I saw them in person about a week ago ... they were flawless and appeared to be getting along fine. Keep up the good work!

you don't need a computer in the room to make IP camera work, that's why it is different than regular webcam. it is a stand alone unit.

The one I used require a initial connection with your wireless router so the IP cam can configure all the setting in the router and the camera itself. once that's done just place the camera anywhere within the wireless range and you are set to go. you can take pictures and record videos (not the best resolution of course). this way you can keep an eye on your prized fish whenever you have access (computer or even 3G phone, like your iphone)

This is the one I'm using, pretty good for the money IMO, click here
and here's a video I recorded with it, just as reference.

[YT]<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/YNdKyY-Lbd4&hl=en&fs=1&"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/YNdKyY-Lbd4&hl=en&fs=1&" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>[/YT]

don't mind the audio, it was randomly selected to cover some of the background sound when the video was taken.
