This is actually a pretty interesting prediction.
I think that Forrest will come out tough and that he will probably win the first round. That sit for Silva inbetween rounds could just make him flip the switch to come out like the "old" Silva.
I'm still leaning twords Forrest winning this fight, but this so far is the best thought to make me think that Silva will win.

I really think Silva will need to feel threatened before he goes back to how he was. Cote and Leites offered no challenge to him whatsoever. No challenge and no prestige in killing them. He really didn't have anything to gain. He knew he could get out of both those fights untouched and still dominate and that is what he did. Do I like it? No. Did I think it was boring? Yes. But he dominated the fights and wasn't touched.

I think Forrest will fight smart but he will also bring the fight to Silva. If Silva doesn't wake up and continues the dancing ****... he will get out pointed.

Seems like Griffin will never be able to shed this tag no matter what he does.

No ****. He didn't brawl with Shogun. He didn't brawl with Rampage, and he didn't brawl with Evans.

That brawling, reckless Griffin is gone. He said so himself after Jardine beat his ass. He knew he couldn't make it to the top fighting like that.

I'm surprised that so many people think so little of Griffin, I mean he did hold the belt in the deepest weight class in the UFC. You don't get there by accident.

Yep, everyone loves to qualify Forrest's wins... Even though he beat two #1 ranked LHW's in a row. And he was winning the Evan's fight before he through a stupid, lazy kick.

I am not a huge fan of Forrest and I will be cheering for Silva (and I cheered against him when he fought Rampage and Evans)... but the dude can fight and I don't know why people refuse to give him his due.

Not saying that Forrest isn't a good fighter... he's one of the toughest guys that steps into the octagon. I just don't think this match up favors him.

Forrest is a brawler. He may have beaten Rampage and Shogun with more a 'technical' style, but believe me when I say he is holding back. When it comes down to it, Forrest wants to plant his feet and swing until someone goes down. That's why I like him. He's not a wrestler, and he's not a jui-jitsu guy. He's a striker who's not afraid to take one on the chin.

Forrest's technique will not match up with Silva's, and you know he doesn't want to clinch. He doesn't want to go to the ground, so.... what should he do? Anything could happen, and Forrest could catch Silva, but my money is on The Spider.

You got that backwards. Silva might have a shot against GSP. ;)

Tru that brotha!!! GSP rules!

pfft...who cares, lol...j/k. The fight of the night is going to be Almeida/Grove :D.

I don't like either one for some reason, but I think silva will win, but I want forrest to.
