Anemone (dont know what kind yet)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Here's one! This idea is for my sump and i can't decide what i would prefer and what would look better, Seahorses or Tomato's in an Anemone???? Obviously can't have both, learnt that the hard way too!!

I think there would be too much water movement in a sump for Sea horses.. Go for a Bubble tip anemone... It would look cool.. I love ur filteration idea.. Only live rock and a skimmer..

The flow of water in the sump is suprisingly mild, less than my display with a seahorse (the one the anemone ate). Thanks also for the positive filtration comment, i'm happy with it.

I hate bein indecisive but that's my life, i think either would look cool.

2' x 1' x 1' (<15g) isn't big enough for 2 Tomatoe clowns & an anemone, nor can you keep it stable enough to keep an anemone, nor is that enough light. JMO

Is this directed at myself or Weylin??
I don't think Weylin has two clowns in his 2' x 1' x 1', just the anemone. My sump is 77gal attached to a 190gal tank which i'm sure would be fine for 2 tomato clowns and water stabillity! It is just the light i need opinions on, keeping in mind the depth of water is only 1 foot.

Sorry, I guess I got the posts combined somehow. It is still my opinion that a 15g is too unstable to keep a BTA in. That pic above is of your fuge/sump? What is that substrate in there?

Check here for more BTA info: http://www.karensroseanemones.com/index.htm

I don't think im getting a BBtip anemone.. I currently have a Heteractis aurora (i think) the common name here is Carrot Anemone... Its doing fine as of now.. And i have 2 damsels in the tank.. No Clownfish...

Here's some pics of the one i have..

When i just got it..--Its almost bleached...
